SEAL MEDIA

A sealed work.
A verifiable origin.

For individual creators and organizations: associate your videos and audio works with evidence people can inspect.

Choose a verification method.

View information associated with the declared publication URL and the seal.

By file

Compare a copy with the sealed work in your browser.

By screen or camera

Identify a work from a shared screen or camera recording. This method alone cannot establish that the copy is unaltered.

Who sealed it?
And when?

The evidence identifies the holder associated with the seal and its date. The public record documents when the sealing occurred, not when the work was created.

The file remains
your file.

Sealing a recorded work involves reading it and calculating a fingerprint. It does not add a watermark to the file.

Seal does not determine whether statements in a work are true. To examine changes to a copy, use the file or URL verification process. The audio code offered for live streams is a separate option.

Sealing and verification are separate uses.

Public verification of works is free and unlimited. Sealing plans cover individual creators, organizations and catalogs.
