Seal Payment Links
Take the order. Don’t take the card number.
A customer orders by phone. You key in their card. Months later the bank tells you the card was stolen, claws the money back, and you have already shipped. A card typed by hand puts the entire loss on you.
Seal Payment Links removes the card from the conversation. You send a link, the buyer pays on your own Stripe page, and their bank authenticates them with 3-D Secure. For stolen-card fraud, liability moves to the issuing bank.

How it works
Three simple steps
Your account, your money
Connect your own Stripe account once. We receive your account identifier and nothing else โ never your secret key.
Amount, description, done
Enter what the customer owes and what it is for. You get a short link to read out on the phone, paste into an email or send by text. CAD, USD, EUR and GBP.
Authentication happens at their bank
The buyer pays on your Stripe page. 3-D Secure is requested on every card, every time. No account needed on their side. You see paid in your portal the moment it clears.
What this changes
Where the money and the risk actually sit
Payments are collected directly on your own Stripe account. You are the merchant of record. Your Stripe fees, your refunds, your customer relationship. Seal LIFAIO never touches a card and never touches your money โ the tool makes the sale easier, the transaction stays between you, Stripe and your customer.
One link means one payment. It cannot be paid twice. An interrupted payment resumes by reopening the same link, and a declined authentication consumes nothing. A full refund is one click in your portal; anything unusual, you handle in your own Stripe dashboard.
Limits
What this does not fix
Service disputes stay yours. If a customer says the goods never arrived or were not as described, that is between you and them โ no tool makes that disappear.
Seal Payment Links addresses one specific loss: a stolen card used in an order you could not verify.
It does not eliminate chargebacks or guarantee any outcome. It shifts liability for one category of fraud, and only where 3-D Secure authentication succeeds.
Requirements
Who can use it
Payment links are available to registered organisations that have passed verification โ phone and domain โ and hold a current subscription. The chain of trust comes first: a link that carries your name only means something because your name was checked.

Included
Payment Links are included with your Seal subscription. No extra fee, no per-link charge, no share of your sales. Stripe’s own processing fees apply to you as they would on any sale, and are paid to Stripe, not to us.
Frequently asked questions
What merchants usually ask before they start taking payments by link.
Does my customer need an account?
No. They open the link and pay. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Do you see my customers’ card numbers?
No. The card is entered on Stripe’s page, on your account. We never receive card data, and we never receive your Stripe secret key โ only your account identifier.
What currencies can I invoice in?
Canadian dollars, US dollars, euros and pounds sterling.
Can the same link be paid twice by mistake?
No. One link is one payment. If a payment is interrupted, reopening the same link resumes it.
How do I refund?
A full refund is one click in your Seal portal. Partial refunds and special cases are handled in your own Stripe dashboard, as usual.
Does this stop every chargeback?
No, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. It addresses stolen-card fraud, where 3-D Secure moves liability to the issuing bank. Disputes about service or delivery remain yours.
